| Brief Detail: | Registered Nurse required. 2 years experience required. Prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to children, adolescents and adults based on education, training and competency to treat age and diagnosis specific patients. Assesses patient/family nursing needs using all data available, including interview. Develops goals for problems requiring nursing intervention, involving the patient and family in planning whenever possible. Coordinates patient activities on and off the unit in collaboration with other disciplines. Participates in developing a comprehensive care plan. Identifies nursing service problems and assists in their solution. Responsible for assessment of patient needs, including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self care, educational and discharge planning needs. |
