| Brief Detail: | The Registered Nurse, Certified Diabetes Educator participates in assessing, planning, coordinating and implementing the education programs provided to patients diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus. Candidate must hold a Bachelor degree from an approved school of nursing and must be a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida renewed every two years. Candidate must maintain a current BLS certification, and be a Certified Diabetes Educator by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (renewed every five years) within two years of hire. Three years of clinical experience required and previous teaching and staff development skills/experience required. |
