| Brief Detail: | Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. Full-time position for individual to serve as a primary care provider or consultant prepared to deliver comprehensive geriatric patient care in the ambulatory outpatient practice, hospital and nursing home settings. Non-physician providers are a valued member of the clinical practice with faculty physician supervision, RN patient triage and assessment and active participation in a clinical teaching environment. Will assess, diagnose and develop a plan of care in accordance with practice protocols.
NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice). Must have NPI number and be Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) OR be eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire (eligibility criteria for NP requires National Certification through AANP or ANCC, and Master's Degree).
Two years previous NP or PA experience preferably in a geriatric outpatient, hospital or nursing home practice setting preferred. |
