New Blood Test Helps Predict Woman's Fertility Years
A simple blood test is becoming more available throughout the country that will tell women how long before menopause sets in. The tests AMH, which decrease as a woman approaches menopause and are very low or undetectable four to five years before her final period. This allows a woman to have an idea when she has four to five years left to have a child; therefore, in addition to having a child, a woman can determine how to better react to health conditions that are better treated if it is known when a woman will enter menopause.
