Panasonic Develops Medical Robot
Panasonic Corp has developed a robot that dispenses injectable drugs to patients. The robot stores medical data for patients and then sorts out the drugs for each of them. After that the robot will place the medicine in their respective drawers for the patients. Pharmacists will put the drugs into the robot. The robot is said to look like a cabinet with a lot of small drawers. It is the first in Panasonic's robotics project. They are hoping to sell the robot in Japanese Hospitals next March.
