Iowa Board of Nursing License Expiration Date
Effective with the next issue (Nov. 2009) of the Iowa Board of Nursing Newsletter, the board will no longer publish lists of licensees with impending expiration dates, either in the newsletter or on the board's website. Iowa code 147.10 has been revised such that licensing boards are no longer required to notify licensees when it is time for license renewal. Expiration dates can be verified at the board's website: www.iowa.gov/nursing, on the wallet card or at the board's Interactive Voice Response System 515-281-3255.
