New Policy for CA BRN: Fingerprints Required Before Issuance of License
Starting August 10, the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) will not issue a Temporary License or Interim Permit until the processing of fingerprints is completed by the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and have notified the BRN of the results. As a result, no Temporary Licenses or Interim Permits will be issued unless the processing of fingerprints have been completed.
