Nurse Aide Registration Nov. 6 at Wayne Community College
Registration for Wayne Community College Continuing Education's spring Nurse Aide I courses will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 6, starting at 8:30 a.m. in Room 101 of the Walnut Building. This course prepares students for the competency evaluation required for listing as a Certified Nurse Aide with the N.C. Division of Facility Services. Seats are limited for both the morning and evening sections of the course, which begin in January. Registration fee is $66.30. A reading assessment is now required before students can register for the Nurse Aide I course. Contact the WCC Admissions Office or Counseling Services at 735-5151 to schedule the "Compass" test.

Also, during the spring semester, Nurse Aide I state exam preparation course, Nurse Aide II and a nurse refresher course will be offered. Students can register and pay the fees for these classes at any time in the Continuing Education Department in the Walnut Building. For more information, call Margaret Roberton at 735-5151.
