More Positions Available in Wayne Community College Nursing Program Due to Grant
With the help of a three-year grant, Wayne Community College will expand its associate nursing degree program. The grant was worth $165,876, and Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust funding will pay for instructors and equipment, as well as allowing more students to be accepted in the nursing program. This is all towards helping the nursing shortage. The main goal of the nursing program is to not only to increase enrollment, but to retain them and have more graduates. Local support has also helped with scholarships and clinical experience.
