Air Force Offers New Program for Nurses
The Air Force is now offering the Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program (NECP), which will allow its enlisted members to complete a full-time bachelor of science degree in nursing at an accredited university while on active duty. The Air Force is excited to offer this accelerated nursing scholarship and looks to select 50 students for the fall semester. The Air Force sees this as win-win opportunity - they recognize that nurses are the backbone of the Air Force and will be able to receive invaluable members, while the individual will have the chance to gain knowledge and skills to further their career. Applications must be received by June 25, and the NECP selection board will meet in July.
