Nursing School in Detroit is a Scam
The Center for Advancement of Healthcare Professionals ran by Travis Wright is accused of being a scam. The school charges $6,000 for tuition, yet upon completion, you are no closer to obtaining a license. Rae Ramsdell, licensing director at Michigan's Bureau of Health Professions, claims that Wright's students can not graduate. The school is located in a mid-rise on East Grand River in Detroit. The school is only furnished with folding tables and chairs. When asked about the lack of medical equipment, Wright claimed that students will get hands-on experience during clinicals. Wright refuses to disclose which facilities would provide clinical experience for students. The school has to be approved by the board of nursing, and they have not been.
