Hong Kong Weight Loss Plan Involves Worms
According to Hong Kong health officials, Chinese websites are offering a weight-loss plan that contains the eggs of the Ascaris worm, which can live in humans. These worms can grow to be 15 inches long and can lay up to 200,000 eggs! This is a parasite that will definitely make you sick and depressed, and it is also potentially fatal. To treat the infestation, medication can be used to kill the parasite and the worms could also possibly require being surgically removed.
