The new $180 million, 315,000 square foot N.C. Cancer Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC offers triple its previous space and top-notch amenities. In addition to offering state-of-the-art imaging, radiation oncology, pediatric treatment, infusion and inpatient facilities, it now also offers natural light, easy navigation, and even public artworks by N.C. artists. There is also a expanded patient and family resource center that offers educational materials, counseling and symptom management services, survivorship programs, yoga classes, relaxation, an expanded "Brighter Image" boutique providing wigs, scarves and other products, and a place for patients and families to relax.
