Swine Flu Vaccinations Expected to Be Available to All
Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary, stated on Monday that the H1N1 vaccine is "coming out the door as fast as it comes off the production line," and that there will eventually be enough to supply everyone. President Obama declared the H1N1 swine flu a national emergency on Saturday. U.S. health officials state that the H1N1 swine flu is now widespread in 46 states, and there have been 1,000 laboratory-confirmed deaths since April. There are currently two types of vaccines available: nasal mist and injectable forms.
