Lack of Nurses in Future Impacts Patients
U.S. Health researchers are predicting a severe shortage of nurses that could reach 500,000 by the year 2025. By 2020, the U.S shortage is estimated to be 285,000. Research say that the lack of nurse staffing causes hospital bed reductions, delays in patient care, and increased risk of adverse outcomes. Theses finds, as well as others, are published in the "The Future of the Nursing Workforce in the United States: Data, Trends and Implications."
