Other institutions doubt new facility will do much to solve national shortage
A new nursing college is set to open in Columbus. However, local schools say additional classroom space will not prevent a national nursing shortage. They feel that the too few teachers and the increasing competition for clinical space at hospitals, nursing homes, and centers where students learn on the job is what is really causing the shortage.
