Strike vote planned-Nurses at St. Vincent decide Wednesday
With over a year of negotiations, the nurses at St. Vincent Hospital are still dissatisfied on staffing levels and will take a strike authorization vote on Wednesday. The union states that inadequate staffing levels have led to numerous unsafe situations. The nurses and management at St. Vincent's have been negotiating since November 2005 and there have been 33 sessions held.
