Army Targets Appeal Towards Nurses
Nurses have the ability to choose from a large variety of career options. The Army and Army Reserve are trying to target nurses towards the military. They are offering increased benefits and offerings in hopes to increase their appeal. The Army has a $25,000 sign-on bonus to nurses committing to four years of full-time active-duty service. Other financial rewards offered include further training and student loan repayment. The Nurse Corps is offering a Health Professions Loan Repayment of up to $30,651 in school loans used to receive a nursing degree. In addition to all these benefits, working in the military gives nurses an advantage in their career through experience in proving they are flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel. These are perfect qualifications for being a great travel nurse!
