Wilmington Nursing Grads Hope to Help Nursing Shortage
With over 100,000 vacant nursing positions nationwide, local nursing graduates are looking forward to making a difference. Thirty-one people graduated from UNC Wilmington's School of Nursing this semester. To help with the nursing shortage, the majority are staying in North Carolina, while others are taking jobs in other parts of the country. With four nursing programs in this region, the Wilmington area is not really affected by the nursing shortage.
