CFO of Nurses Group Charged for Embezzlement
John Daley, the former chief financial officer of the New York State Nurses Association, has been charged with first degree grand larceny for stealing over $1 million. The New York State Nurses Association is the state's largest nursing group, and Daley had worked there for around 5 years. The group has a mission to support and enhance the practice of registered nurses and improve the public's health by providing leadership in changing the health care environment. If convicted, Daley may have to serve up to 25 years in prison.
