Joint Commission Offers Seasonal Flu Strategies
This flu season, the joint commission is releasing a free monograph, "Providing a safer Environment for Health Care Personnel and Patients through Influenza Vaccination: Strategies from Research and Practice." The monograph has information about seasonal influenza, influenza vaccine, and strategies for overcoming barriers to successful programs. After receiving over 200 submissions from health care organizations 28 submissions were selected to be included in the monograph. A copy of the monograph can be downloaded for free on the Joint Commission's website.
