Foreign Nurses Find Jobs Via Internet
Foreign nurses have been limited to overseas employment due to the lack of working visas. The unemployment rate of nurses in the Philippines has reached 400,000. In response, they plan to open two centers offering the world’s first borderless healthcare knowledge process outsourcing (kpo). The nurses will act as medical butlers, attending to the needs of patients throughout the world via the internet. Dr. Wei Siang Yu, founder of the FlyFreeForHealth, will be investing $2 to $4 million for the two kpo centers.
