Hospitality House to Host Fifth Annual Golf Tournament
Frye Regional Medical Center’s Carpenter Hospitality House is hosting their fifth annual golf tournament on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Lake Hickory Country Club - Catawba Springs. Lunch will be served at 11:00 am followed by a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. The cost of the event is $75 per person, which includes green fee, cart, range balls and lunch. Registration forms are available at the information desk in Frye’s main lobby. All registration forms must be received by May 4, 2009. The Carpenter Hospitality House, established by the Frye Volunteer Auxiliary in December 1992, is a non-profit 501-C-3 organization that provides a “home away from home” to the families of patients of local hospitals at no cost to them. Hospitality House operates on donations only and is staffed by volunteers who help take care of the families. All proceeds from the golf tournament will be used by the Carpenter Hospitality House for expenses, repairs, and maintenance of their home on the corner of North Center Street and 5th Ave NE in Hickory.
