Clinton's Campaign Story Inaccurate About Hospital's Care
Hillary Clinton's campaign features a story of an uninsured pregnant woman who lost her baby and died after being denied cared by an Ohio hospital because she did not have money for the $100 fee. This story implicitly and inaccurately accuses the hospital of turning her away, when in reality, the hospital treated her - not only did they treat her at the hospital, but they also treated her at the affiliated River Rose Obstetrics and Gynecology practice. Clinton has repeatedly told this story, but the hospital first became aware of it after it was cited in the Washington Post.
