Oswego Hospital Offers New Infant Hearing Test System
Oswego Hospital offers some of the latest technology to offer to over 650 infants that are born at its hospital each year. They recently obtained a new sophisticated computer that screens every baby's hearing ability that is born at the facility by producing clicking sounds through the baby's hair fibers in the ear canal. The reaction is then recorded and helps assure parents that the baby's hearing is normal. This is one of the screenings that is done on newborns before they go home.
