Fatal Hospital Shooting at Olympia's Providence St. Peter Hospital
At Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia on Saturday, a 42-year-old man was brought into the emergency room. Although two guns were confiscated, he managed to pull out a third gun in the ER. After the man was moved into another room for a test, he became upset. It was then that he pulled out a third gun. An Olympia Police officer shot and killed the man inside the hospital emergency room after a struggle was ensued. This is the first fatal shooting at Olympia's Providence St. Peter Hospital. Such an incident reminds us of the possible danger in emergency room and how it will probably become even more difficult in the future for the nurses to do their jobs safely.
